Reviews of the Tate Show

Reviews of the show.

Just came across these reviews of the show. Might we talk about art as a ripe site for contestation, both historically as well as contemporarily? Why is art particularly suitable for the creation/narration of identities and ideologies?

  1. Woohoo-you have referenced the Socialist Worker!

Esther Leslie is the woman who organises the academic conference Historical Materialism and recommended that book I was talking about 'Marxism and the History or Art'. I will bring it tomrw.

  2. Is the 'Result not found' link to highlight that the Daily Mail are a right wing paper that wouldn't give two hoots about a communist exhibition?

I would have thought they would have at least liked to challenge it-mind you, doubt they would be able to!!
